Cruiser Cycles is not an ordinary bike shop. It’s a store that offers more
to bikers than any other and it all started as a dream to build a business
that would make people feel comfortable coming to. Everyone is
welcomed to come in, drink coffee, and enjoy a fun, relaxing time talking
about their common interest in motorcycles and riding. If there’s anything
you are looking for, we are happy to help you find it. If you need something
fixed, we do everything in our power to get it done. If there is a part or
accessory you need, we’ll get it for you. If you are looking for something
different or personalized, we’ll do it for you.

Cruisers Cycles does it all: parts, accessories, service, leathers,
custom embroidery, custom graphics, gifts & novelties, helmets, apparel,
custom-built bikes, rebuilt classic bikes, hot rods, rat rods, trikes,
scooters, ATV’s, new & used bikes of all makes & models.

Cruiser Cycles is a dream that began in September of 2003 in Willis,
Texas. Ronnie Burchfield was born with mechanics in his blood. He
worked hard to make a living and raise his family, with the majority of his
working career owning and running his own oil field compression
business, and construction business. At the age of 45, he yearned to get
out on the road again on a motorcycle and ride.

Cyndi Hardesty is a career elementary school teacher who has always
worked hard to make a living and raise her sons. She always wanted a
boyfriend with a motorcycle so she could get out there and ride. The
purchase of a uranium green Honda VTX1800C made this desire to ride
a reality.

   After only a few rides, we realized what all the biker gear was for;
protecting you from the elements. We also wanted to add a few
accessories to the bike, like a windshield and sissy bar, for a more
comfortable ride. Our experiences in accomplishing this were less than
enjoyable and not very satisfying.

Our search for biker apparel led us to creating our own design of half-
chap. We designed what was later to be trademarked as“Kneeknockers”.
Kneeknockers are a knee-length custom half-chap that does just what
they claim; knock the wind, water, and road rash from your legs while you
ride in style. After seeing us riding in ours, other people begged us to
make some for them.

Manufacturing Kneeknockers became our new part-time career. We
started by selling them in our own biker apparel & accessory store in
Magnolia, Texas. We were then invited to set up our apparel in South Paw
Custom Cycles in Magnolia, Texas; and Dan’s Custom Leather in Cut-N-
Shoot, Texas. Ronnie started building bikes and bobbers under the
carport at home. Business was good and our dream was beginning to
take shape.

In 2005, our home state of Oklahoma was calling us to move back
closer to family. We realized right away that it would be impossible to
manage our stores from a distance of 450 miles, so we decided to move
it all with us and open a full-blown motorcycle store in Chickasha,
Oklahoma. We started Cruiser Cycles in September of 2005, on the
corner of 7th & Chickasha Ave. Our goal was to treat and help other fellow
bikers the way we would have liked to be treated. We have met the nicest
people and built a loyal customer base. We have also built strong
friendships with many people here. We realize, when you treat people
right, they come back to you.

The next phase of our dream is to build a new shop in the back of our
showroom. Presently, our shop is still located at 7th & Chickasha Ave.
We also want to offer more custom bikes, hot rods, and muscle cars. We
try to offer a unique variety of things such as Indian motorcycles, classic
Harleys, original & rare finds, such as a 1943 Harley Police trike, new
Vento Colts and Vthunders, and our own bike, the “Cruiser Classic”.
Whether you’re looking for a hard-to-find part, a custom bike, or a hot cup
of coffee and a friendly face, Cruiser Cycles is the place where you will
find it all.
